Have you checked to make sure that it cracked? If not check that and the drain. If the plastic is cracked there's a few fixes you can go about it

I don't agree that the plastic around the sunroof is bound to crack. They wouldn't use sunroofs if that were true. If there was a TSA they should honor it if you're not too far out of warranty if you weren't notified. Do what mopar22 said first.

Blow out the gutter with an air compressor. It can clog and water wont drain.

I just joined this group hoping to find the answers to the leaking sunroof on my Daughters 2016 golf, with less that 10,000 miles it has a leaky sunroof and is ruining the interior. We were also told that it was just out of warranty, 2nd owner bought from a relative. Having a hard time locating pictures of where these cracks are supposed to be located, corner next to forward drain hole ?. Sorry for the long post but looking for the answer via google wasnt much help with good pictures or video. Thanks in advance for any help. Rick

Sounds like they bent you over. It clearly states right there on additional info that it is to be performed on all applicable vehicles.

Also for any future people, it's not a hard fix
