2020 GTI Oil change 5w40 VS 0w20?

All the cool kids run 15w-50 Rotella. Change my mind.

I'll never get running Diesel oil in these things with so many great for-purpose oils but whatever makes you happy.

It was a Subaru thing back in the day. I'm in no way recommending 20w-50 Rotella. It was 100% a joke.

I ran Rotella T6 for 165k miles in my Speed3. Smelled something awful at 3k OCI's but the engine still ran like a top when I got rid of it. It was cheap too which was nice.

Currently running 0w20 in the GTI. Plan on sticking with it I think, even now that I'm tuned. I figure if it aint broke...
