2015 GTI non PP brake fluid flush

Can anyone tell me how much brake fluid I need to completely flush the brakes?
Also recommendations on fluid?

1 l = 1 quart if you want to flush excessively. Use either OE VW or DOT5.1 (not DOT5).
Don't forget using VCDS or similar for ABS/ESC or the old fluid will remain inside the hydro
unit otherwise.

I made a quick search of this forum for brake bleeding procedures. What I found made no mention of the use of VCDS. Can you please elaborate or point to a published procedure?

It's mandatory. You need to power the ESC/ABS valves or the old fluid will remain
inside the hydraulic unit because without this measure the valves are shut and the
flush will remain incomplete. That said don't forget the clutch bleeder too.
