I’ll be updating this as I take more pics & clean parts up.

These are all extremely expensive & hard to come by OEM transmission parts so hopefully I can save a bunch of Mk7 guys day with this. Long story short I needed an input shaft for my transmission, so I bought a low mileage (3,600 claimed by the junkyard) with a broken case.

If there’s anything you’re interested in other than case halves or the input shaft just ask, I probably have it.

Located in Clover, SC (FedEx available, $20 if it fits in an envelope & $50 if it’s bigger than that to the lower 48). Double that for Canada or Hawaii.

-Ring gear, already drilled & ready for LSD installation $200

-Open differential (non VAQ/FWD ONLY) $150 (SOLD——the original from my car, cleaner of the two in these photos is SOLD)

-Bronze shift forks (full set) $100

-Full gear set (now also includes input shaft) $475

I’ll have to take pictures, I priced it cheap because it also suffered some damage in the junkyard case destroying incident. I can’t remember exactly which part was snapped off.

The shafts is in good shape, the cast cap / shifter slider mount is snapped off (pictured next to my good one for comparison).

Yes the tower removes and installs via the 2 bolts and a lift and twist motion.

Well, the broken one came on a junkyard transmission I never actually used any parts from so it you want it to disassemble have at it.

Looking at the pictures it looks like the cast (broken) part is held on by a single roll pin.
