My 18 GTI Dsg has 135k miles. Bought new. Been reliable. Well maintained. Battery was just replaced. Originally waterpump, no carbon cleaning. Still smooth as butter. 93oct from new. But lately sometimes 89oct. 36mpg avg. Best car I've owned.

I think this is better than factory

2018 Gti DSG Se. Stock. Last time I did plugs was 60k miles. Looked good. So went further. It's OEM ngk pregapped. So no idea.

The dealer put in cheap$12 plugs. This time I bought good $23 ngks iridium.

68k miles plugs. Stock mostly highway. Could've gone more.

For a 4banger it's impressive. I love mine. Almost 40mpg highway. My c63 is bad in terms of mpg.

I did run a stg 3 Evo. 440awhp. Dead even to 120. After that the big motor of the c63 pulls away.

I own a c63 NA tuned. Dynoed 435whp. Ran high 11s @120+.

Always been using 93oct. Top tier brands since new.

I guess my 18 GTI is a good one. Bought new. Never abused it. Stock. Mostly highway miles. Flawless. I wonder about the carbon buildup though. Idles smooth still.

None of these issues.

I had American, other German, Japanese cars. All burned some engine oil. My GTI doesn't burn any. Even with 123k miles. No other issues.

Just got my NY inspection passed for 2023. Never saw this.
