Sorry, don't really look to often for PM's -- and haven't logged in a while...
1. Neither. It uses the standard hood latch, but you lose the struts. Thus, when you open the hood, you'll need a hood prop.
2. Installed over top. But it fits extremely well.
Additional comment on the Revozport hood. I didn't install it, but the body shop said it wasn't a simple plug-and-play. In particular, they said re-installing the wiper fluid tubes and jets required drilling holes and carefully threading them through.
