It doesn't actually hurt at all. The are around is a little sore, but the eye itself feels fine.

Where was your PPE, son? Gotta wear that Eye pro when staring straight up at what you're wrenching. Once had a dead hornet knock loose from somewhere above me and land on my lenses.

Fuck that. I used to work in a parts warehouse and we were damaging out some old parts when my coworker tossed a headlight bulb that exploded and sent shrapnel into his eye. That shit was not pleasant when I had to take him to the optometric surgeon.
