Thanks to @xabhax I needed to update my gateway firmware. So I did that, now running 3Q0907530AR (5502) to fix Mk8 wheel touch sensor faults I didn't know I needed to worry about, more info courtesy of his post here. Anyway, worst nightmare for a retrofit addict, lol...

Scary stuff, haha. But it makes sense if the Gateway goes "offline" for a minute. And now my latest (and greatest) scan since I started breaking/fixing things on this car...

Installed the IE DP I picked up on here. First time removing/installing a DP for me. Strait forward upgrade. OEM DP needs some smooth moves during removal.

So far I really like the sound. I see why some folks turn off the soundaktor. I’m still on the stage 1 tune. I’ll be flashing to EQTs OTS is38 tune once I get their turbo in and installed.

I’ve heard that the wiper rings on the pistons can have build up on them overtime this reducing their effectiveness and allowing some oil into the combustion chamber.

Idk if it will make a difference, but I was going to do it anyway.

I’ll probably en up doing the PCV anyway

I think it was @Daks that mentioned he was having problems with the side to side bracket from DG. Well I finally had time to install it and the damn slider barely fits into the slot it slides on my APR SS. I have the front to back lever from APR and didn't think it'd be a problem. It took a bit of force to get the slider on and I knew it wasn't going to feel good in the car, but I kept going with the install. The car is still sitting in the garage with the intake and battery removed because I was right. There's no way I could drive like that. It takes way too much force to move the shifter forward and backward. I guess I'll try sanding it down a bit, but with as tight as it was I think that's gonna be a bit of work.

Ah, I gotcha. Yea, mine barely fits. It's terrible lol I honestly didn't even think I was going to be able to shove the slider in there at first. Even once I got it started I really had to shove it on the rest of the way.

I've been going at it with some 600 grits and it's better, but still not where it should be.

Yup, my slider did the same when it got hot, but really only a little stiffer, not where it made anything difficult. I put the euro front to back on the car a few weeks ago and while it was out sanded the slider a little bit and now it’s the same regardless of heat.

I’m sure the APR arm is just a tad smaller than stock so you’re gonna have to take more off the slider.

Luckily I found some 400 grit sandpaper and an electric sander or I would have given up well before it fit right.
Little before and after of my slider...

You can still kinda see it sticking at a certain spot in the after video, so I went back and hit it with the sander 1 more time and worked that out. Now it slides around like it should. It feels good in the car, but I haven't gone for a drive yet. I'm about to do a little run in a few minutes. I went forward and backward a few feet just to make sure it was getting in gear correctly and no problems there.

I also took the front and back mount apart and shoved some plastic bits into the spaces of the rubber, so that should feel stiffer now too.

I had bracket mounts to install too, but I jiggled my bracket a bit and it honestly felt pretty stiff and I didn't see the point in replacing them. I left them alone.

Now I just have a super pin to install.

After the drive; it'll take a little bit to get used to. Things are definitely stiffer all around. It's hard to tell if it's notchier or if it only feels like it's notchier because those notches aren't spongey anymore. It's a more direct feel. It doesn't seem like there's any more increased resistance getting through gears, so I think I'm all good. Just need some more driving time.
