Any chance you can share the plots? Would like to see the torque/boost curves.

Yeah, ill try to get them.

I made a mistake. It was 384whp on the is38 on E85 with me, 401 on 93 on eqt by other tuner, 423 on E85 by other tuner and 450 with me.
Both setups on the is38 and EQT by me were at MBT, so that is max power. Might be 10 left going to 32/33psi.

Could only get the EQT one.

IS38 as I said was 384.

Peak HP on the IS38 was 5500 and torque at 4500.

Nice job. Doesn't really have a peak it hits 450 and holds it. You said 30/31psi, what kind of timing does it run at that psi on E85? 15?

After peak torque it starts to ramp to almost 17* by 6500.

What's the rest of the setup on the car? GTI or Golf R (run in AWD or FWD)?

Thanks

Full port injection, E85, Walbro 450, Intake, Catless DP, GTI DSG.

This is the one that just pulled a mild modded Hellcat on the FB video.

I'm assuming it also has an upgraded intercooler at least? What about the catback exhaust? DV?

Sorry, I haven't seen the video, got a link?

Thanks

Stock DV's are usually fine, but I have seen a few leak at higher boost levels. I've been having really good luck with the new Turbosmart DV... really nice piece.

If the car is on a stock GTI catback, that could definitely be restrictive at these power levels.

And the link doesn't seem to work.

Thanks

Yeah, been through all that. I have all my clients upgrade the stock DV with a higher tension spring and it fixes any leak issues - this is especially the case with 6MT.

My turbosmart leaked and so did a ton of my clients, which caused a redesign.

Cutout/catback would be a minor increase, but it would definitely help.

Interesting about the turbosmart. How did you determine that it was leaking and what was redesigned?

Ok guys, we verified that the new hose fitment is 100% and also got our test rig set up for setting the wastegate actuators. If you would like a wastegate actuator pre-set on your turbo, please e-mail us or give us a call ASAP. The cost will be $300.

Thanks
