Installed a Homelink mirror. Started the teardown when the delivery came, nice. Autodimming is a really nice enhancement to driving experience and I appreciate the clean garage door opener. Already submitted my VW 10% rebate, which is now 12% on accessories purchased from now until 3-31-17.

Thanks man! Got it from E-ACCA for $42 including the adapter, a lot less than ECS. Takes a couple of weeks to arrive butthat was fine. Intake soundwise, not a lot. You can hear some when you step on it. More turbo spool though.

For the back Doors, Door Warning Lights are wired from the Door Latch Microswitch, not via the controllers. You tap the +ve from the window motor and switched -ve from the door latch connection.

For the EL Wire(s) front and back, its wired to the Terminal 58D, (Illumination Lights for the door switches). Brightness can be adjusted via the brightness knob next to the headlight switches.
