Anyone fitted one and managed to hide the wiring?

I would like to possibly buy one however, I'm not a fan of having the wiring showing or having to turn it on and off all the time.

Nice diagram. I will be doing the same soon. I will be picking up a Black Vue unit.

Choose carefully what Blackvue you go for as some are having problems and it seems random. The wife has one and it is fine but my dads is a royal PITA and it is the same model and same firmware. I have the Akenori and had zero problems with it however it is way too big for the Golf so I am looking for another one to blend in.

How do you guys mount the wires? The link in the post, someone has contacted vw who state that wiring modifications will invalidate the warranty.

Do you hide the cables?

This is how I fitted mine to a RHD car - I installed a 3 way adapter but you could leave that out
