Uncommon Parts Numbers AKA Let's Not Get Ripped Off Thread

So I see a lot of advertising for parts that never came with my car and see the prices go for >$100 just for a piece of plastic or just insane prices for parts because they know n00bs will pay out the ass for unique ISHT.

THIS NEEDS TO STOP.

I also noticed that there is a clubsport thread but I thought why not create a thread of an usual items that you have purchased and include its part number specific to all MK7s whether it be the E-Golf to R to GTI to Golf.

I will start with my current favorite.

Lower engine cover. Speaks for itself.

And where you found the parts for less.

I don't remember who shared this site in Latvia, but they confirmed 30 days to recieve their order from here-

http://www.e-acca.com/index.php

I placed my order yesterday for the lower cover and bolt, shipping was very reasonable.

I can also confirm the legitimacy of the e-acca site. I got my jack point pads from there.

Great post! What else are our vehicles missing?

Not specific to our vehicles, but on the website mentioned above, they have the Audi R8 oil cap (420103485B) for $35 USD and the expansion/cooling cap (420121321) for $82.26 USD. ECS sells them for $79.95 and $104.95. Might go nicely with that missing lower engine cover.

Since I made this post, I've read conflicting info online in regards to the fitment of the Audi R8 oil cap fitting the MK7 2.0T. Just a warning that it may not fit!
