Here is a new log with the help of George. still working. Seems to be running really strong up top and timing seems good. Going a little aggresive.

Looking for options to add E85 as the nearest one is 10 miles away from me.

current setup. Removed .5 from 5500-6000 due to timing drop.

For those of you who aren't reaching target on additive - are you going absolute?

I did and now it is hitting it. However, it decided on its own targets to hit rather than what I wanted. Still hitting higher boost than additive. JB4 has a mind of its own.

Could you please share your settings? I am basically at +6.0 across the board. As you can see from my logs, +7.0 actually commanded less boost than +6.0.

Your DME BT is under a lot of pressure. 20 psi at 4.500rpm and your IAT is not high. I had never seen so much pressure in this range.

Yea, I'd like to know what it is and how it's under a lot of pressure. What's normal pressure?

Mods are listed up on my first post. I'm running pb 93 and will be adding e85.

His boost is pretty high for what I've seen for JB4s at 4500 rpm, but he's not getting any ign retard and AFRs and trims look good. Wish I could run that much and not worry

cool learn something new everyday from you all. apparently DME BT is what i thought ECU PSI was. but ECU PSI is JB4 generated. don't think a DME of 20 is danger hi or nothin tho

Right buddy. DME BT shows stock boost.

Yup, DME BT is stock boost. His IATs were around 100F, so not out of the realm of possibility of the ECU requesting 20psi. This is why George recommends going to absolute in the summer. With his additive it is now hitting almost 27psi at peak. That's a lot to ask for the IS20. Maybe for a quick run or 2 I'd do it, but not daily in my opinion. It all really depends on how much risk you are willing to take.

What would be great is another Map that can be selected so you could have a reasonable user adjustable map for daily driving and then a race map. If you had a dedicated tablet or phone in the car hooked up you could select one or the other on the fly, say if a WRX was messing with you then you could flip over to your race map. I don't see map5 as being used.....food for thought BMS!
