Burger Tuning JB4 Golf 1.8TSI MQB specific information thread

Just switched back to 93-octane and upgraded the firmware on my JB4 (I've been super LAZY lately) and put in CRXgator's settings a few pages back. Here's the log...looks p good to me:

Only hit 15.5 at peak but definitely feels stronger than my old map6. I'm getting a new intake this upcoming weekend but doubt it will change much.

I still haven't installed my IS20 or downpipe that I've had for almost a year now. The whole thing was put on hold b/c I sold my WRX in the Fall of last year and have no spare car in the event the install doesn't go smoothly. I'm fixing a '05 Accord EX that I get for free if I can fix it so SOON I'll be joining the IS20-gang!

try to set the 6-cylinder timing to 1 if it's on 0, I set mine to 1 and all my absolute boost were working as additive.

It turns off the nanny that limits boost to 8-9psi above ECU.

Np thats ur all year settings or summer time? i run 94 oct and cstless dp and 23 psi map for me ign2-5 takes a beating and so does ign1, whats ur winter settings? if u use other settings for winter.

When I was jb4 only I ran fol 85.. what you’ll doing on that fol 70 nonsense

Those are spring/summer settings. Can’t hit target that high in the cold months. Currently peaking at 19.5 I believe.

I haven't done much logging in recent months. I had a house fire in July and have been pretty busy trying to get it back to normal here. I may have one somewhere though. I will check.

This log is from a stop to a little over 60mph. I have a DSG 4motion. It goes through 1st and 2nd so fast that it never makes peak boost above 20psi in first and second as it goes through them too fast.

Posted a 4.384 0 to 60 on this run.

This is one where the temps started getting colder and the trims were getting higher and it couldn't hit peak anymore so I set it to 19psi since then.

I don't have any good winter logs at this time. Maybe I can get one in the next couple of days though.

u got any 1 gear pulls? multiple gears are a little different

it doesn't make sense why do i get so much timing lose ign2-5 and ign1 with my set up with a catless downpipe 94 octane, is it my turbo?

Just that one 3rd gear pull at the moment. I might have some at around 20psi peak but I didn’t find any at 24. I will try to get some in the next week or so if it will stop snowing here.
