Sorry for the delay on bulbs guys. I have reached out to necessary parties in order to confirm being a vendor. I don't want to push a bunch of products when there are paying vendors on the forums selling the similar products. It doesn't seem right. So, if you've asked me what bulbs I have used and where I got them and haven't received an answer from me yet, that is why. I don't want to disrespect any paying vendors on the forums and go against the rules.

The good news is, I am in the process of becoming a vendor and we are going to put together some light kits that I know you guys will be impressed with - both quality and price!

I'm thinking of offering 3 options... Interior only, Exterior only and a full kit. I'll save the details for a new thread once things are official, but wanted to give you guys a heads up.

Cheers,
JD

We could always stop being lazy and find the bulbs ourselves on AliExpress lol

Guys ill just post links to what we ordered. I think that is allowed. Be careful ordering from ALI. Not all LEDs are created equal. We went through a lot of crap to find stuff that was actually good. I'm meeting with urban joke this morning to discuss all this so bear with me

Any updates here? I've found a few items on AliExpress but I'm concerned with quality.. :(

Did the coding today. Very nice.

Thanks, OP, for posting.

Is it possible that you could add the stock settings to the spreadsheet? I have no intention of returning it any time soon, but it would be nice to know the values I would need to do so.

Got a question, hope someone can shead some light.

I did this to my golf sportwagen, and i really like it a lot.

But i do have a few conerns, that should be fixed with VCDS

1) the tail lights are always lit like the head light switch is 'off'

I would like to have it go back to the way it was, when the are only dim, when the headlights are on.

2) with this mod, the little amber light does't blink light anymore when turning on the outer light. Is this the parking light?

Thanks

Nick

How do you code this with the obdeleven? in the coding there is a few lines where you have to input letters but the obdeleven is numbers only.....

Would also love an update about your recommended LEDs from AliExpress :)

Cheers to high qual-qual cheap LED(s) ....

For the price, you can't go wrong with either of these. Always buy emitting color: red. if you don't your brake lights will start to look pink. I think we concluded the 2835's were maybe marginally brighter than the 5050's.

http://goo.gl/jsU3ve - 5050 chipset <-- These fit really nice and snug.

I've run both of these options. Excellent choices! Thanks for the links UJ! No problems to date. *knock on wood*

Cheers!

Did you just do brake LEDs or did you also find a good source for reverse LEDs as well? Just curious [emoji4]
