New ECS Flowformed wheels

Just mounted the new ECS Flowformed wheels, did a little photo shoot ;-)

These are the 19x8.5 +45 Matte Gunmetal.
Conti 235/35/19 tires (Stock)
I'm not running wheel spacers.
Car is lowered on EMD (Emanual Design) Golf R springs with the rear perch pads installed.

The wheels weigh in at 21.1lbs.
My stock 19" Englishtowns are 25.5.lbs

Very reasonable price for a set of flowformed wheels. ($900 set)

The center caps are metal, very solid quality.

Originally I had intentions of powder coating these black, but seeing them in person, the matte gunmetal color and finish overall was excellent. So I decided to mount them as is.

Will see how these hold up, strength and finish, but so far very happy with this purchase. ;-)

I think that is a great combo and personally don't think you could improve the looks with a black powder coat (unless you decided you needed a 2nd set for winter!)

They look awesome, it's great combination with the colour of your car and I love the red R badging. Perfection!

They look good, but very similar to the Konig Oversteers

These :p

Those were on the car last week ;-)

I replaced them because one was bent and the other curb rashed from my wife.

Main difference is the ECS are Flowformed (hopefully stronger) and 2lbs lighter per wheel. The ECS spokes go all the way to the edge of the rim, and they are slightly more concaved, to me makes them look a little larger and more aggressive. The Konig is a good wheel for the price though.

Very very nice! Nice to see affordable good quality wheels out there... Now if I can find winter tires to fit them....
