DIY dynamic turn signal harness, who's made their own?

Just like the title states, i'd be interested in knowing if anyone has made their own dynamic turn signal harness, or simply how to go about making one? Based on the harnesses i've seen for sale, it appears to be a small module which just needs to be connected to the current harness via some extra wiring and connectors...

Now the question is what is the name and/or part number of the two different housing connectors and what kind of wire and connector pin tip do i need. I'm going to make a harness rather then splice the wires like in the video
