trunk Light Size?

Does anybody know what size is the hatchback/trunk light size? the same as the license plate lights? I want to replace with an LED light.

+1. Look no further.

I tried just a bulb for the original housing; I bought the Philips from ECS Tuning. Turned out to be a millimeter too long and simply wouldn't fit under any circumstances.

While it won't cause errors but it doesn't mean it will work 100% - flickering - stay dimly lit are major issues.

Very Bright white light and no codes in either my mk6 or Mk7, the trunk light isn’t monitored for bulb out.

EDIT: doesn’t stay dimly lit and doesn’t flicker either, works perfectly.
