Here's my indium Grey GTI PP I just bought (uk also) spec isn't quite as high as yours. Was already built.

Took my carpet mats out and refitted with some new GTI'd logo rubber mats from the 'bay. Quite pleased with the quality.

Have since removed the transmission cover piece as I thought it was a bit OTT?

Sorry, not updated this thread in a long while. Nothing major just a lots of little bits and pieces done to the car.

1. Swapped the standard VW washer fluid cap to the newer Skoda "scoop" one.

2. Adding in a permanent charging connection for my new CTEK Battery charger





3. Blagged a new cheap battery cover from Ali Express



4. Painted the disc (rotors) which had started to corrode including inside the vents with VHT paint. (Ignore the surface rust on the rotor face as I'd washed the car beforehand)





5. Fitted the rear USB charging points (again from Ali Express)





6. Fitted the Harmonic dampener to the rear subframe





7. Started a clean up of the undercarriage (work in progress) starting at the back.

8. Fitted new Red LED Footwell lights as the old ones started to fail



Also, as an aside, continue to be amazed at the fuel economy these cars give when not pushing it. This was a journey home from a work site, where they had roadworks and average 50 mph speed cameras for a good stretch (note this is UK MPG (i.e. imperial) not US (think it's about 42.5 mpg is US money)

Fuck I love those seats.

I need those seats in my US spec GSW. Love the car!
