225/45/18 on Austins w springs?

I have a chance to get blizzaks in 225 45 18 to put on my austins for cheap.

Trouble is i have ED springs and I am not sure if it's smart to run the taller sideway.

I currently have 235 40s up front with little room so it is making me second guess the fitment. TIA

I don’t think anyone has ran this.

Might want to look how much of an overall difference 245/40 vs 225/45 is, that’s been done.

BTW don’t cheap out here. You can buy a set of property fitting Firehawks for around $450, do that.

lol, didn’t catch that.

We don’t have snow tires here in Texas, summer tires year round. Didn’t even dawn on me.

Try to see how different the 245/40 vs 225/45 is.

Will do, got the set used for 1 season for 200 bucks.

Willtheyfit says the 245s are 3.25 mm less in height so not a huge difference.
