Noted similar warnings and topped mine off as well. Car is in for an oil change today and the tech noted a coolant leak at the water pump. The fix is to replace the seal and the thermostat. Initially they thought this was out of warranty (2015 GTI with 90,000km) but confirmed at my request that it was covered under the 100k drive train warranty. 3hrs labour, a seal and a thermostat.

Worth checking as you won't see leaking on the ground due to the underbody shield.

^ update - $1400 was the estimate. Dealer replaced the water pump and thermostat which seems a bit shady to me if it was just a seal leak. Feels like they were fleecing the manufacturer on that one as it was a warranty deal.
