MI Insurance rates?

I've had my GTI for 2 years, and my insurance is higher than I was paying for my previous car (an E90 328i). I'm curious what other people pay for insurance on their GTI?

I’m currently paying about $111 a month.

There's too many variables to compare what people pay for insurance. You would need to find someone in your immediate area who is about the same age, has the same options and year of car and has an extremely similar driving record. Both people married or single and other cars with the same company and homeowners insurance with the same company. So don't try to compare what you pay to someone outside of those parameters.

Im paying ~1300/6mo soo $230ish/mo. (Progressive)
That is with full coverage (thanks Bank for making me pay for full coverage) with 1000$ broadform deductible.
1 ticket in last 3 years. 1 ticket 4 years ago.

I love this state and its high insurance.
My Missouri insurance was 125/mo for full coverage.
