Non-LP Halogens in Lighting Package Headlights?

I am looking into buying a pair of OEM Lighting Package headlights, but the set doesn't come with bulbs. I was hoping to be able to use the halogens that came with my non-lighting package headlights with the new headlights until I got around to buying some xenons. Does anyone know if this is possible or are the systems not interchangeable?

They are not interchangeable. You also need at minimum oem ballasts, bulbs and an adapter harness plus coding to get oem lights up and running.
