okay got the brakes!

Could really use some insight from anyone that's done this - when bleeding them, do I really need to use VAG-COM??

If so I am thinking of getting the 60 dollar dongle hting from deutsche auto parts that u can sue from your cell phone. any input?

Not a fan of that maxton spoiler myself. I'd be down for an inexpensive option but wish it covered the sides of it as well. To each their own though, the car is coming along nice!

Hulk - agree about wishing it came down all the way; it does take on more of an 'add on' look unfortunately however in person it does look pretty good vs in pictures. Thanks!

got vagcom! ordered the obdeleven dongle and am excited to use it!

What are some of the best tweaks that you guys would recommend? Theres a lot out there!

So I did a thing that I'm not so sure about :X lol.

On a quest to gain even more noise and turbo sound I had a #genius idea to remove the top half of my VWR intake. Given how high the walls come up, I figured if I put the weatherstrip from the hood cowl (which removing that alone adds some noise lol) along the edges it would act like most other open element intakes while still being somewhat shielded from the engine bay heat. Also doesn't look half bad!

Noise: Oh yes, it definitely opened up some noise! Can hear literally different types of pshhh -KUSHH! noises now! Given that it's nearing winter time again Im not too concerned about any extra heat getting into the intake, not that the original plastic cover could have shielded TOO much anyway. Most air is still directed through the lower plenum.

Thoughts?

Its the maxton design spoiler and it comes with sticky tape preinstalled.
