Back on the stock DP, decided to have some fun for the first time in a bit. Did a few solo pulls and saw headlights coming in fast.
Gray CTR with CF fenders and hood flies by and slows down to line up. 40 roll, CTR gets the hit but I reel him right as I hit 4th gear and keep pulling. 60 roll, I pull hard, and stay ahead about 2 cars. 40 roll one last time, I start way too low and lag quite a bit, still catch him in 4th gear. He was a good sport and rolled down the window and gave a thumbs up.
I don’t know much about the CTR turbo or gearing, but every time I run one they have to shift early while I’m still winding to redline, that’s typically when I will put on a substantial lead, then they just run out of steam up top.
Was on a bit of a high after that so I stayed out past my bedtime for a few more runs.
