South bend stage 3 daily clutch fly wheel

So I just picked this up from a shop and noticed these rust holes on the fly wheel when I parked at my job. Brand new supposedly, sent pictures to my mechanic and he says to ca south bend or shop cause it looks used. The shop where I bought it state that it's normal and that they see it all the time, shouldn't have any issues but Idk just payed almost 2k for some shit with rust holes?

Its pretty normal, it will rust when its installed on your car also. They don't coat the inside of the threaded holes so the hardware threads properly.
