The guide is a suggestion as to what relative changes to bar stiffness does to handling. The VCDS/OBD11 settings are somewhat conflicting, so you need to do some reading. It seems you can effect how the e-diff responds to also alter handling. I use VCDS and am not familiar with OBD11 except for posts I have read.
