impact wrench's are to make nuts and bolts come lose.

torque wrenches are used to tighten nuts and bolts to spec.

geezus. it pisses me off when im on the vortex reading about some dumbass stripping a bolt or later on it coming lose and wonders why it did since he used an impact.

I herd ya, I see techs do that shit all the time! When I say all the time, I mean each tech does it atleast 3 times a week, seriously. But to be honest I can't blame them, first of all its not their car, second they are paid commision unless newly hired, third they do it every single day 5 days out of the week. So they sort of live out your avatar "fuck this shit".
