I probably shouldn't be posting this on the web, but I doubt my roommate actually goes anywhere besides porn n shit.

I am doing a series of "social experiments" on my roommate for the next quarter, and the first part consists of "Ivan Pavlov" style fun. I haven't picked exactly what key phrase or action I'll use, but every time he performs said action, I'll drop his internet.

Now this is where it gets tricky. I can already access the Netgear router site, since I am the admin, and on the left column I can see under Content Filtering I can see Block Sites, and Block Services. I can only block by I.P. addresses, and when I scan for devices I can see two sets of I.P.'s. I assume one is my laptop and the other is his 360. Am I correct?/

So I go under Block Services and it asks to which I.P. address I wish to block, so I type in his 360's I.P. THEN it asks for a Service Type, a Protocol, a Starting Port, an Ending Port, and a Service Type/User Defined.

#1 WTF ARE THOSE? Why can't I just toggle service from my router to select devices with ease?

#2 Is there an easier way?/Am I doing it wrong?

-Thanks.
