Hi all,
Had a long term issue with my mk7's (1.4TSI) infotainment system cutting out. Initially it would intermittently cut out and restart whilst driving on hot weather days. Its now progressed to the point that when I switch the ignition to turn on the electrics it comes on but when I switch it further to start the engine it cuts out and has to be turned on manually. When I switch the engine off the infotainment remains on and again has to be manually switched off.
I'm hoping the issue is something basic (I've pulled the infotainment unit out checked the connections directly into it) but I'm not sure where to start or if some guide for solving the issue exists.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
