Running into a problem and could not find a way to solve it going through the menus. I normally use BT audio when I want to have music playing, plus I also use a driving app on my phone called Waze which gives me alerts for things of concern such as traffic jams, road hazards, and speed traps. The problem I'm having is when I put the music program on pause, which I do a lot since I find the stereo to be distracting, the audio on the car auto mutes and I keep missing the sound alerts from Waze. l check the volume on the sound system, and it's all the way down. This didn't happen on my old Passat, so I'm wondering if there's a way to disable this? My only other option would be to create a dummy soundtrack with no noise and play that to keep the volume raised.
