Cause the tpc20 is a garbage turbo. High failure rate, slow as shit to spool, inefficient - generates a ton of heat

Maybe I misread your post? Are you going vortex now? I was more so asking about the IS38. What was your opinion on it?

I traded the Rabbit Edition for a 380 Edition. I'm loving the mk8. It's what I wanted the mk7.5 to be.

No, I'm a GTI guy. I've owned half a dozen over the years. If you could get awd and the R engine with plaid interior, no sunroof and stripped down, I would, but I'm plaid for life. 🤣

And it's not that I'm cheap, I've owned 911's, a Boxster and a C63 in the past, but I just can't see spending almost $50k on any Golf. $30k it's a bargain and a blast with a tune.

If I wanted to spend 50k, I'd get a used Cayman. I just like GTI's though.
