Maybe I misread your post? Are you going vortex now? I was more so asking about the IS38. What was your opinion on it?

Yes going vortex. Loved the is38. Probably the best turbo the the GTI without going down the rabbit hole.

I traded the Rabbit Edition for a 380 Edition. I'm loving the mk8. It's what I wanted the mk7.5 to be.

No, I'm a GTI guy. I've owned half a dozen over the years. If you could get awd and the R engine with plaid interior, no sunroof and stripped down, I would, but I'm plaid for life.

And it's not that I'm cheap, I've owned 911's, a Boxster and a C63 in the past, but I just can't see spending almost $50k on any Golf. $30k it's a bargain and a blast with a tune.

If I wanted to spend 50k, I'd get a used Cayman. I just like GTI's though.
