Help - can’t get three screws off top of front suspension

I have the front strut off the knuckle successfully and all that remains are the three screws on top. I was able to get one of them off but the other two have the nuts spinning underneath!!!

I been at it for over two hours trying to get two screws off and I can’t find a way to get them off. Anyone come across this when changing front suspension?

Two options....
1. Spray some penetrating oil onto the threads of the bolt (and let it soak), and then get a extension & socket to hold the nut in place on the bottom side:

2. If that don't work, cut the head of the bolts off (with a Dremel) and then get the strut assembly out.

You'll need to get a new strut mount & bolts though, with either option (IMO)

Cut them out. You'll never get pliers or vice grips on the bottom to stop it from spinning.

Hey guys!
Yes I did, I used a dremel to cut the cut the bolts off.
For the bolts where they came up a bit so I cut at the threads, I just hit those with a dremel.
For the other bolts that didn’t come up to have exposed threads to cut through, I did a cross pattern with the dremel right on the head. Then I took a strong flat head and pried the four pieces apart.
I did this on both sides of the car.

I tried everything that I had and couldn’t grab onto the nuts. The top hat wasn’t designed for that apparently!
