Today and tomorrow I have to go do some ISO internal audit stuff out on the shop floor... in the areas next our annealing furnaces (y) (y) (y) (y) (y)

To stay on schedule with my lawncare plan for the fall I think I also need to run the dethatcher in the next few days. Sweet.

I was looking at dethatchers the other day but am not ready to commit to a full lawn care regiment. If that’s all I do besides cut it will it be beneficial?

If you're not doing any seeding, I think most cool season lawns only need dethatching once every few years or so. If you haven't done it before it's definitely beneficial, but imo just rent one from HD, don't worry about buying one. Same thing with core aeration. I bought my dethatcher because I knew that I'd be doing some fall seeding for a few years consecutively.

No need to go insane with lawncare. Get a pre-emergent down at the right time, fertilize once mid-spring, spray a 3- or 4-way post-emergent in late spring, and fertilize again in the fall, and you'll be better off than 80+% of people.

PB&J x 2 for lunch.

A pb&j is underrated as an adult. Sure, kids eat them left and right. But most adults ignore them completely. A fantastic sandwich.

Had me in the first half, ngl.

Creamy is the way.
Creamy is simply more versatile. You're gonna have peanuts in your house anyway (right?), so why not have peanuts available as a snack and creamy peanut butter for sauces/cookies/etc, and then when you make PB&J just add peanuts for that cruncy element? Easy peasy.

Plus chunky is way more awkward to eat off a spoon. The texture just isn't right.

Grilled cheese and tomato soup on here today.

We're running out of orange juice. Guess I'll get scurvy for old time's sake?
