Can’t get Dogbone Bolt Back in

What I am starting to think is, if an insert is in place, then that’s maybe when it becomes very difficult to apply enough force just by using brute force to get the dogbone mount arm to move enough to align things for the bolt through the bushing. I imagine that if the insert is not in place, then there might be more play. With a dogbone bushing insert in place, that might be a lot more difficult. Could be wrong in my thinking, there may be others who’ve been able to shift the arm with an insert in place without prying anywhere or jacking the trans. My instructions told me to put the insert in and then take out the OEM bolt and then put the aftermarket bolt in. So i never tried moving the arm with no insert in place, wasn’t a step that I took in my process. These are all guesses, just trying to better understand it in case I need to install any future mods down there.
