I had a 2021 GTI SE 6-speed that was recently destroyed by a red light runner. I loved that car and how the buttons and controls all worked, for the radio, climate controls, steering wheel buttons, everything. Trying to find another 2021 but they are difficult to find. I am considering expanding my search to 2018-2020 GTIs as well. What differences will I notice on how the interior functions operate?
2021 had the MIB3. How is MIB 2 and 2.5 different, operationally? I did like the 36 radio presets that can all be intermixed. I enjoyed the rewind feature on XM Radio. What else will be different?
I enjoyed having wireless Android Auto. Most days on my commute I don't need to use AA. But once every couple of weeks there I want to look at the traffic along the way and it was great to just have it available at any time without having to take the phone out of my pocket. I've read you can get a wireless dongle to get that functionality. Does it work well?
Anything different with the instrument cluster screen?
