Update, yes, spare tires R16 6.5j ET42 steel rims are working perfectly after the retrofit.

Hi Dave, this weekend i also changed the brakes form 288 to 312 and i'm very happy,Ty 🥰, i use textar pro+ disc's and brake pads ...and also I have modified in controler 03 >> adapt>>> brake boost from 4 to 2 (the pedal is more responsive and the distance seems less) i didnt try my 16" steel...

Hmm, just wonder, if the 16inch wheel steel/alloy rim will fit whit 312mm retrofit?
