Does anyone know what the supersession part mean?

Can I still buy the suppressed part? It's more common than the new one.

Thanks. So does that mean that the 5G0 (aka the one in the marked red area) is the old revision, and the 5TA replaces it?

It makes sense because 5G0 is "Golf only" and 5TA is also used in Tiguan, Arteon, etc.

No, it should be the other way around. 5G0 supercedes the 5TA.

I see. That makes sense now. That explains why I couldn't find the 5TA (LED Front map lights) anywhere!

Using the 5G0, I've found plenty.
