I feel different about this every day. I got a two-door, and some times I think it looks freaking amazing. and I almost get hit by people in parking lots as I stare at my car while walking away from it. Other days, I experience heavy cognitive dissonance for not getting a 4 door. On those days, I feel like my car looks like a double amputee. Also, I wish I could drive for Uber.

It's obv an entirely subjective matter, so yeah it is what you make of it. I think the 4dr looks much better on the Mk7. Now, I didn't have any complaints about my Mk6 2dr

Pretty sad. GTIs should all be 2drs IMHO.

+1 I grew up in MK2 and have a MK4 and they were 2 door. When I went to get my MK7, the stipulations were 2 door and manual...the perfect GTI setup!

Not an owner yet, but I'm going to be picking up a '16 GTI this week (if my e90 sells in the next few days). 2 doors all the way... Never even entertained the thought of going 4 door.

Picked up my GTI today after completing the sale of my e90 this morning! Been a long day to say the least, but I'm already in love with this thing.
