Spotted a Lapiz Blue Golf R northbound on Highway 1 between the 101 and Lompoc today at 11:30AM. I was heading south and before I realized that I encountered another R and had a chance to flash my highbeams, you had passed me.

Spotted an identical white golf r in Malibu yesterday... i could not believe it. I was literarily telling my friend about how rare these cars are, and immediately there was someone's brand new R at trancas canyon.

I saw him again yesterday while he was sitting in the parked car -- I slowed down and honked twice, threw the "V" and he returned it!hahahahah that's my uncle! I'm part of the mk6 forum and just happened to look at the mk7 one. He isn't on the forum
