This is a pretty realistic additive tune for those wanting to push it a bit with good-ish fuel. It is still winter-ish here (20-60degG) on any given day. Highest boost I have hit was 25.6psi with no corrections (2nd log hits 25.8 and sees timing pull on ign_3). Mods are just a drop-in and snow guard removal.

Looking forward to getting my intercooler installed, and maybe a downpipe this spring. Then bring on the warm temps and absolute map. Thinking about adding some boost limits in 1st and 2nd.

Limit it to 15psi in 1st, 19psi in 2nd. Helps a ton if you're on non-sticky tires.

Get that DP installed already and try out my old absolute map :D

That's impressive for no DP. I never pushed more than that with a DP.

I won't push anymore either. Been on these settings for 2+ weeks. That 25.8psi max freaks me out haha. Kind of crazy considering this might still be winter gas.

Oh and sticky tires are coming (hopefully 245/40s). Rims are in the basement. Just gotta pick between springs (thinking VW DG / H&R OE Sport / Eibach Pro from UK). Just want a mild drop and big rubber.

@Diggs - curious how you evaluate AFR when people are running blends... do you take into account the stoich change, or does the JB4 just report lamdba as AFR as though it were running gas?

JB4 reports lambda as if it were gas. It doesn't know any better.
Everyone has their own comfort level. I dislike anything above stoich up to 5k (not including spool spikes).

Sub 14 5000-5000 and sub 13 5500 on up.

Really what makes me sleep well at night is this:

but that's boring. :D

Makes sense - that is what I had figured.

I am with you when it comes to AFR levels at RPM... 12.8-13.2 (.87-.89) until 5k, then 12.5ish (.82-.85) from 5k+ :)

I was worried about that a bit. Which is why I set boost limit to 26psi. Timing advance looks good. Compared my peak boost to other tunes and they are pushing 28psi (which is crazy).

With warmer temps and an absolute map, I will limit to 25psi and a slightly more aggressively top end. We will see. Thinking about picking up an IS38 or IS20 hybrid & mounting kit to have at home ready to go. Well after a downpipe.

That's going the wrong direction if you want to keep your turbo happy. Like Jay said, high boost at lower RPM doesn't kill turbos. High boost at high RPM kills turbos. Keep your limit at 26 or raise it to 27, and be more cautious with boost past 5.5k. It's not like you should be winding out the IS20 past 6k if you want the best acceleration anyways.

Raise the limit to 28, peak 27 from 3k-4.5k, then hard taper at like 5k-21, 5.5k-18, 6k-16. Look at those absolute settings I saved for a rough guide.

You aren't going to get a lot of top-end out of the IS20... all the power is 3.5k-5.5k. Winding it out past 5.5k is just killing power.
