Last summer, I was driving with a couple passengers. The A/C was on and I was in traffic. Whenever I'd take my foot off the brake and let the car creep forward, it'd kind of stutter. The passengers commented on it but I didn't think much of it. And I couldn't figure out what was causing it, but since then, I've narrowed it down to the A/C.
The issue used to be more intermittent but it seems to be happening more frequently now that it's summer and the A/C is almost always on. When the car is at low speeds, the engine seems to vibrate/shake. It almost feels like it's being jerked back and forth. Take the A/C off and there's no issue whatsoever.
The moment I get up to speed, everything is normal, too--this only happens when I'm taking off or creeping forward.
Has anyone experienced this issue before? Or is this normal?
Car is auto FWIW.
Thanks in advance.
