Is that video with a DP and no exhaust? Sounds really loud? Also is it catted?

Interesting note on Vibrant's website is that it states NOT to use this cat on a turbo charged or supercharged application.

I checked it out too...

Any downpipe in this price range will use the same type of 200 cell cat in the $100 price range. The cost of the DP is mainly driven by the quality of the cat. All cheaper 200 cell cats are prone to telescoping (concentric rings that can break down over time and slide apart while breaking down). A turbo exhaust pulsing against the rings will hasten this process, so the manufacturer won't warranty in this case. It doesn't mean that it won't last a long time with normal usage. If you want something of better quality, and with a better catalyst, you have to go GESI. That is also an option here. However, that drives the cost up about $300 for most DP's.

Correct. Also, this is the most common used Vibrant cat for most manufacturers, even on turbo applications (which we have been doing for 11 years without any issues.) But yes, a GESI option is available as well.

Guys from what I experience with this downpipe....It is quality...the tech doing the install said it was harder to remove the OEM DP than installing this DP.
Sound concerns...if you drive normally the only thing that you will hear is the DSG farts. The sound increases when you go over 3k rpm. It is louder than OEM as you can see from my video.. i would say about 50% louder. I think it sounds perfect with the OEM exhaust. Quiet when you want it to and loud when you dont. The resonator will definitely make it sound close to stock.

This video shows what it sounds inside under regular driving around the 3:50 min mark

This show what it sounds like under full acceleration inside.
