Assuming looking for some from Canada.

Those are Lyon wheels.

Don't think it would be economically feasible from the states

Nothing is economically feasible when it comes to parts here, it seems. I change my mind, I'm just going to tune and keep my 1.8t :)

Good call. 1.8 is 90% of a gti at 70% of the cost.

Some springs, wheels, and a tune and you're right there.
Add a is20, shocks, bbk (or even pp brakes) and you're above a stage 1 gti.

Thatnks, i totally agree after really thinking about it. My friend just got a GTI so ive just been a bit jealous. Always worried (I'm not sure why) that people would see me in a modded golf and think "ricer". I worry too much.

Actually already have myself springs, exhaust and getting some beautiful wheels tonight. Tune in the near future, but I have 5MT so I worry about my clutch at stage one. Oh well! May do is20+ jb4 to start. Not sure yet!
