What did you do to your mk7 today?

Vinyl wrapped the roof today. The wrap is 3M 1080 series Gloss White Aluminum.

I did it mostly for practical reasons and not for appearance. I love the black, but it gets so hot when out in the sun. I travel for work, so my car sits in the airport parking lot a lot. I figure the silver (in gloss) will reflect a lot of heat off of the car and it'll keep the perfect paint on the roof perfect for years.

It was installed by Denver Graphics Installers for 300 bucks

Silver and Black. I love the color scheme. Maybe not too popular in Bronco country though.

Painted some plugs and threw em in the old license plate holes. Got the paint from Amazon. It was called Jeff's Paint or something. It is a close match, but doesn't have metallic flakes in it. But it's so small it doesn't matter much.

Where did you get the vinyl, btw? Was thinking of trying s red stripe on back somewhere but have no idea where to get good vinyl that is a tornado red color match.

Easy job and no need to remove the mirror glass also much brighter than the stock ones.
