I use mine with (1.25 square) bike rack mount.. How does that work with this hitch?

It won’t unfortunately unless you get creative with some sort of adapter. Tesla offers a Bosal detachable hitch adapter with a 2” receiver however it seems to have mixed reviews.

I’ve had an Ecohitch on my GTI for 2 years now. It’s great aside from the coating. I had to strip and repaint after the first winter as the powder coat was chipping off like no tomorrow.

I plan to pull it off soon and have it refinished again. The rust drives me nuts!
