Sat Nav Reset (UK Version)

Hi guys, is there a way to reset my sat nav to factory settings?
It won't let me search an address by putting in a postcode? I'm sure it did when I first got the car but now it's not giving me the option?

Are you looking in the right place as it's quite cryptic on the MK7.

Go to new address, make sure the country is get to GB, when you then click in the CITY line on the address screen, you will then see in the bottom left hand corner a new box appear that says "POSTCD" - click on that and you can then enter a full 6 digit postcode.

Thanks for that mate I'll give it a try later. Is there a way you can just use postcode? Sometimes I don't have a full address but just a postcode

The above is the way you just use the postcode. I rarely use the full address, the postcode gets you 99% to your destination.

Also note that you have to enter the space between the first and second half of the postcode, otherwise it won't work.
