That's the new project car which Oettinger plans to unveil at the Worthersee Treffen meet next week in Austria.... has the Audi five cylinder powerplant, and initial rumors say figures around 520hp and 680 Nm (501lbft) at the crank....

I don't love the fender flares at all - they look just stuck on and very boxy... love the 5 cylinder in there though!

The mirrors and dash accents are horrible. They could have had something more classy or stylish.

Yeah, a few of the pieces are a little much, but as a package, looks pretty damn good and aggressive. And of course, Limestone Grey FTW...

i think it's good that some engineers at vw are allowed to build some fun cars. i am assuming there is some younger ones involved.

i have mentioned this in other threads;

i am curious what bits will be available hopefully form these high-performance variants (r500, r400, gti clubsport) regarding future oem products for the 'lesser' golfs.
