MK8 illuminated exterior door handles retrofit

Someone just send me this from AliExpress:
4 PCS Door Handle With Light NO KESSY For VW VW GOLF 7 GOLF 7.5 T-ROC Skoda Kodiaq Superb MK3 Octavia A7

Complete set with 4 handles and wiring. I believe rear ones need to be connected to the front door module, since there's no rear door modules in MK7.

Can't wait to see your writeup. Looks like that wiring will be tied into the door control ambient lights to activate upon unlock.

Just as I was going to ask about the door handles I chose the less-lazy route. My memory from the past was you could only get KESSY illuminated door handles.
But this morning I see that is no longer the case... https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256804250181796.html
As I'm sure you can guess... I've got them coming .

Guess I should have posted the link in this thread... they've been available since December at least... mine are in the box in my garage, need to get them painted still .

Hey, already installed these? I just received them and going to get them painted. Just was curious if they match the puddlelights from the mirrors.
