it's kinda ridiculous at this point.... maybe this is my GTI's way of protesting not being the daily anymore after i added an SUV to the family.
the intake manifold is the latest revision, genuine, and literally 14 months old.
first CEL was 2 months ago. i went into basic settings, block 142 and ran the test. it passed. but today, CEL came back, and the test failed.... so i guess i really need yet another intake manifold....
there's a bunch of aftermarket brands out there now. has anyone had luck with those?
and...legitimately....how hard is this job for a DIY? i've replaced my intake, short shifter, bushings. is it any more difficult than that? thanks.
